Coffee cart at a baby shower? YES!

Think about it — the guest of honor can’t have a glass of ch*****ne. So what’s she supposed to do? Not to mention all the actual kids who are around! A coffee bar fixes that. Everybody gets something special, including mom.

We set up this one last weekend and watched it turn into exactly what we hoped. People standing in line talking. Cups in hand. And one little guy who had zero interest in the coffee and total interest in the logo on the front of the cart 🥹

Then Tonya left us this:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “I mean... a coffee bar at a baby shower?? AMAZING! So delicious 😋 what a wonderful experience!! Thanks so much Braided Cord!”

That’s the reaction we’re after. Not “oh, there’s coffee” — but “wait, we can do THAT?”

☕ HomeTrust Park, Saturday morning.

We partnered with Pure Barre to serve coffee at the Best Buy Metals Pavilion. A whole ballpark of people up before most of Asheville was, working out on the field, and then a line at our cart!

Class ended and people just... didn't go. Stood around with cups, talking to whoever they'd been sweating next to twenty minutes earlier.

We've seen it enough times that it shouldn't surprise me. Give people a hot drink and somewhere to stand and they'll stay longer than they planned to. 😉

☕ Some of our favorite moments happen in the minutes people aren't at their desks.

We spent a morning at the Omni Grove Park Inn serving the team at Accents on Asheville — lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks for a crew that works hard all year bringing groups to our mountains.

I was told that the team was "brain-dead" from a long week of events. Our cart fueled them up and not long after their first cup, the office was full laughter, buzz, and energy! Employees from different departments gathered and mingled and a seemingly quiet morning turned into one that was full of life.

That's what a coffee cart actually does for an office. It gives your team a reason to step away and come back full, all in a matter of minutes. We create a natural gathering point for your team to gather and build something meaningful together.

I love this photo.

We've had friends in the industry call baristas world class performers, and we're inclined to agree! There's something mesmerizing about watching a barista in their workflow. In those few minutes between taking someone's order and handing them their drink, we've seen excitement, anticipation, awe, even envy 😉
