This is our son, brother, grandchild Jett.
He was killed in October on his way to work at Left Coast Taco. Despite his mother’s best efforts, he was following in her footsteps and working in a kitchen, on his way to becoming a chef.

He was a 2023 graduate of SGI and E2CC BOCES Culinary in East Aurora.

Jett was a born helper. He had a deep desire to help anyone in need.

Every time he saw someone on the side of the road, I knew the drill. We would go buy food, and I would turn over any cash I had to him. He was fearless. He would give the food and the money and a few words to whomever we saw.

June 19th, 2025, he would have turned 20. Our birthday celebrations for Jett this year will be at Friend’s of the Night People in Buffalo, NY.

Jett’s family, those that loved him and our catering business (Edible Crush) will be providing and serving Jett’s favorite meal, Jett’s Jerk Chicken Dinner to their hungry, homeless, and in-need.

They are in great need men’s clothing, hygiene supplies, and funding.

Please consider a donation to Friends of the night people, to our go fund me (100% of donations go directly to them) or DM us to coordinate any donation of men’s clothing or hygiene products.

This fundraiser is in honor of my son Jett Hamann’s memory.
He grew up in Springville but spent much of his last few years in East Aurora.
Most recently , he was a cook at Left Coast Taco. He was killed on his way to work last October.
In his honor, for his birthday this year, we are doing a dinner Friends of Night People.
