April is child abuse awareness month. That is why we are partnering with the Child Advocacy Center for their You Matter campaign! The Child Advocacy Center serves an important role in identifying and prosecuting child abuse, and helping young victims heal from their painful experiences. Together, we’re amplifying a simple but powerful message: every child matters.
Blue is their signature color, and it happens to be the color of a very special blue heeler friend of ours! Join us at Celebrations On C-Street on Tuesday, April 21st 5-6pm to meet our blue dog for a photo with a beautiful blue balloon backdrop by Serendipity, and enjoy fluffy, yummy blue cotton candy to raise awareness, support and protect children in our area!
Tickets are $5 per child and adults are free. We will also be accepting optional donations, your generosity is appreciated. All proceeds will benefit the Child Advocacy Center.
Don't forget to wear blue and bring your friends to this fun evening for a monumental cause!
