In June we were honored to be a part of a couple graduations. Congratulations to Baylee and Aniyah. Both of you have a bright future ahead of you! You guys are going to do great things.

Meet the handy dandy Maintenance man - Gene

Theresa brought on Gene to join the team about 2 years ago going on 3. She supports veterans; as to, herself is one.

-He is a Marine vet of Vietnam
-Retired Director of Plant Operations
-been married for 50 years to his lovely wife Linda. -has 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren.

A lot of you don't get to see Gene because he is here at Simon before we even open.
We can't forget about our helping hands around the property that plays an important role.

From electrical to plumbing to even the littlest things .. he's the guy.

Who are we going to call? GENE!

"He's a Maintenance worker, not a magician....but I can see why you might be confused" -unknown.
I feel like that quote is very fitting.

Meet your waitstaff - Sheila

-She has been with Simon Kenton Inn for nearly 7 years.

-She's in college to get her Associates of Science to transfer to a different school for Bachelor's in Hospitality Business Management.

-She has a certification in manager level servsafe.

Not only is she dedicated to the business but she's dedicated to the customers/guests.
She will put your needs to attention and make sure you had a pleasant visit with us.
She loves serving all of you no matter the occasion.

Some of you have been there from the beginning of her career here and have watched her grow. We can't thank you enough for the support.

Join us for dinner and meet Chef Adam

Theresa has reconnected with an old colleague from years ago in the early beginnings of Simon Kenton Inn. She has convinced him to join the team and we're excited to have Adam back with us after 12 years.

Not only is HE top tier, but his professionalism and communication is top tier.

Little background to "spill the beans" on him:
-he is a Certified Executive Chef
-he was in the Culinary Olympics in Germany and won silver medal(2nd place)
-he was in the Culinary World Cup in Europe and won 2 silver medals and 1 gold(1st place)
- he was a professor of Culinary at a college

There is so much more to learn about about him, you'll just have to come out and enjoy his food. The presentation of precision of the food on the plate will make your mouth water before even eating 😋
