I’m deeply grateful for your visit on my final day with my small business. It was wonderful to see so many of you and to share every last product I brought to the Farmers Market of the Ozarks !

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your continued support and for recognizing my years of dedication to sharing the authentic, traditional, and mestizo flavors of Peruvian cuisine. I’m confident that the taste of Peru’s rich culinary art will stay with you for a long time.

Valued and dear customers,



This Saturday, December 20, will mark my final day operating my small business, Peruvian American Food Catering. For the past 13 years, it has been an honor and joy to share the richness of Peruvian cuisine throughout Springfield and its surrounding areas. As I close this chapter, I do so with pride and gratitude, knowing that our mission has been accomplished — the authentic flavors of Peruvian food are now known, loved, and appreciated across this city, the Ozarks, Branson, and many other places where we served with dedication and care. Thank you for your unwavering support and for being part of this 13-year journey.

I am also excited to share that a new adventure is about to begin! In March, Nelly’s Peruvian Sweet will make its debut at the Farmers Market of the Ozarks (FMO), where we’ll be located inside the market building. Our new venture will feature Peruvian-style breads made with quinoa, olives, cheese, and garlic, as well as sweet breads, dessert empanadas, and other delightful treats — both sweet and savory. In the coming months, we’ll be preparing our menu and refining the final details of this exciting new project. We look forward to reconnecting with all of you very soon.
