This month marks 21 years of happily officiating for couples. When I started, marriage equality was not a right people had legally. I officiated many commitment ceremonies in my early days, which always hurt my heart that people were not equally afforded the same rights. I'm thankful for the 2015 passage of marriage equality and I support it wholeheartedly. Happy Pride Month.
