The OBEC exists as a creative platform from which the individual can express, experience, and grow. We are a collection of individuals coming together for the common goal of community through the Arts and local initiative. As artists we want to diminish the dividing lines that exist in Art. Through community organizing we hope t

o awaken the will to create, imagine, and define existence. The OBEC is ever growing and expanding as new ideas are brought forth. Come and be a part of something real. Find your place in making a tangible difference on the world. Take initiative. Please share your ideas, be as you are and let's bring a new vibe to our community.

We are so overjoyed to see the advancement of the artistic talent being represented in Springfield. We started a dream and it lives through the veins of the city. We are so proud of those in our community who use their time to help aid the progress in our city. All the work we put in is paying off in bundles. To all of those who spend their time like they have forever. To those who sang through basement walls until they were loud enough to make someone feel. To those who gave what they didnt have to comfort the hearts of those who needed it. Keep supporting the local events! Get Dusted, Stand-up Comedy, Galleries, Concerts and Performances. Be there and we will continue to grow; our city will continue to thrive. We can make this city a center for artistic expression.

We love you all. Wear that smile wide, today. You're beautiful.
