The flower field is slowly coming alive! This season has had its challenges with the weather and basically skipping spring all together. The flower stand will start having jars 🫙 of flowers by THIS weekend! We’re so excited to be back in action and share our blooms with you! 💐 🌼

The winter sowing has been successful! I didn’t use the marshmallow sticks to support them up and I still had so much growth. So far I have: Sweet William, Bells of Ireland, Larkspur, Foxglove, Daises, Canterbury Bells, Lupine, Chamomile, Lavender, Stock, and Coneflower. The hard part is trying to figure out where I’m going to put them all! A lot of them are perennials so I need a permanent spot. Can’t wait to see them grow! 🌼

Trialing out some winter sowing this year ❄️
I managed to sow around 15 different flowers in under an hour! Cool hardy flowers germinate well in the winter. I leave a little bit of the bag unzipped so snow and rain can get in to water the seeds naturally. I’m excited to see how these turn out!
