I have been singing since I was five years old. My mom would have me singing with Mariachi's and I was given the nickname the "little girl with a BIG voice".
In my teenage years (during the 80's) shyness struck and my audience became my dog in the living with the hair brush being my microphone singing Prince and Classic Rock songs...oh my gosh it was so hilarious when I think back.
Gospel music became my passion in my twenties to the present, singing in choirs, ensembles, and solos in many gospel venues.
I began singing karaoke through strong peer pressure from my friends and y'know it grew on me. I am expanding my musical passion to the secular genre, not giving up my roots just broadening my creative outlet.
It is an explainable feeling when you see your audience relax, enjoy and above all have fun!!
