School Pride Contest 2025 - IS COMING SOON!

We have our annual school pride contest to see which school can raise the most money and earn their teachers free lunch during teacher appreciation week. Schools will be given a box to decorate from McAlister's and the "School Pride" box will be displayed on the counters at your local restaurants. We will also send you flyers you can send out to help advertise the event. When families come in from your school, they are to drop their receipt in the box to receive credit for the sales. Parents or staff who order catering can also count towards the contest by putting their catering receipt in the box or letting us know.

We are looking for a positive can do go getter for our catering coordinator position. Someone who will work in the store and administer and oversee the set up and delivery of our catering orders. The position of catering coordinator is to oversee all aspects of the catering department from marketing and growing our client base to properly executing all catering orders, to following up with all clients to ensure their complete satisfaction. This person will be required to work in the store along with performing the day to day catering duties. The daily expectations for all catering coordinators are:

* Accept all catering orders for the day and apply payments for daily orders
* Implement all check lists for orders
* Set up orders for the next day
* Make sure all food coming from the kitchen is correct according to spec.
* Set up drivers for all orders. catering coordinator may be one who has to take orders.
* Catering manager assists in the restaurant through lunch after orders are out.
* Once lunch is over the catering coordinator responsibilities are:
** Put in gratuities and add to orders and pay drivers
** Ring orders in
** Pay out tips to drivers and make sure they are clocked out
** Call or email clients for feedback and log.
** Check orders for next day, note any products that may be needed and do set ups
** Assign drivers for next day
* Responsible for 10 calls or visits a week to new customers
* Responsible for being up to date on all catering specs

The catering coordinator will report to the General Manager and the Catering Director / Manager. Job duties are, but not limited to:

* Customer skill
* Ability to use Microsoft and computer skills
* Organization skills
* Sales
* Demonstrates a positive can do attitude
* Ability to handle money
* Valid drivers license
* Self Starter / go getter attitude
* Leadership skills
* Can manage a team and assigning drivers
