Good morning WWC NATION!! It’s Tuesday so that means it’s Superstar Spotlight!! Today, we will be talking the Legion of Doom!

* Formed in 1983 as The Road Warriors, consisting of Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal, managed by Paul Ellering.

* Became one of the most dominant tag teams in wrestling history, winning championships across the NWA, AWA, WCW, Japan, and WWF/WWE.

* Captured the NWA National Tag Team Championship, launching a run of dominance that made them international stars.

* Had legendary rivalries with teams such as The Midnight Express, The Four Horsemen, and The Fabulous Freebirds.

* Competed in the first-ever WarGames match alongside Dusty Rhodes and Nikita Koloff against The Four Horsemen in 1987.

* Arrived in WWF in 1990 as the Legion of Doom (LOD) and immediately became one of the promotion’s most popular teams.

* Defeated The Nasty Boys at SummerSlam 1991 to win the WWF World Tag Team Championship.

* Became the first team to win major tag team championships in the AWA, NWA, and WWF.

* Popularized the Doomsday Device, one of the most famous tag-team finishing moves in
wrestling history.

* Returned to WWF as LOD 2000 in 1998 and later made additional appearances in WWE.

* Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

Today, we will be talking about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson!!

Career

* Made his WWE debut in 1996 as Rocky Maivia, a tribute to his father and grandfather.
* Joined the villainous faction Nation of Domination in 1997 and developed the charismatic “The Rock” persona.
* Became a central figure of WWE’s Attitude Era alongside Stone Cold Steve Austin.
* Won his first WWE Championship at the 1998 Survivor Series, becoming one of the company’s youngest world champions at the time.
* Captured the WWE Championship 8 times and the WCW Championship 2 times.
* Won the Royal Rumble in 2000.
* Main-evented multiple WrestleManias, including legendary matches against Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and Roman Reigns.
* His match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania X8 is considered one of the greatest crowd-reaction matches ever.
* Left full-time wrestling in the early 2000s to pursue a Hollywood career, becoming one of the world’s biggest movie stars.
* Returned periodically for major WWE storylines, including high-profile programs with John Cena and Roman Reigns.
* Became a member of the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the The Bloodline family legacy recognition.

Many fans consider him one of the defining figures of the Attitude Era and one of WWE’s biggest stars ever.
