People talk about unplugging. We make it easy and pleasurable! Our venue is in the middle of our ranch and is covered by beautiful oak trees with the Guadalupe River running nearby. Knibbe Ranch wasn’t built by just the men of the family. While they were the strength, they had wonderful women who were by their side making their own impact! There have been plenty of Knibbe women whose extraordinary contributions left an indelible mark on history. Among them is Anna Bernadine Schlomann, the wife of Hans Heinrich Dierick Knibbe, whose resilience and strength were pivotal in shaping our family's legacy.

Born in 1876 in Hungary, Anna emigrated to the United States, where she became known for her dedication to her family and community. Her unwavering support and nurturing spirit made her a cornerstone of her family, and her legacy continues to inspire us today.

Adding to this legacy is our current matriarch, Sharon Knibbe, who has played a significant role in preserving and promoting our family's heritage. As the co-owner of this historic Century Ranch in Texas, Sharon has successfully balanced the ranch's rich history with modern-day attractions for conference goers, meetings, special events, and conferences, making it a beloved local landmark. Her efforts to educate our visitors about ranching life and Texas history have ensured that the Knibbe name remains synonymous with resilience and community spirit. Sharon's dedication makes her an integral part of our family's enduring legacy.
