Hiiiiii, I’m Shelby! Life has certainly been a whirlwind of change this last year. Here are some important things to know:

* I have one sweet little boy named Benjamin who was born last Fall.
* We moved back near my hometown in Southern California & I have been enjoying rediscovering the Inland Empire.
* I transitioned to remote working, supporting educators and Social Emotional Learning & Curriculum nationwide.

Here are some more fun things to know:

* I have about 5 coffee orders that I rotate through with no rhyme or reason.
* Self care for me is done through crafting, eating ice cream out of a mug, or strolling through Target.
* I like to rate restaurants based on their nachos or classic breakfast (give me eggs, bacon, hash browns & pancakes!)

I spent the last 6 years in the world of weddings which is fabulous! But I LOVE holiday parties, themed parties, fundraisers, school orientations, celebrations of life and mini projects that go into big events!

My focus is my people and their celebration. I’m not here for the glam or glory. I’m here for you. Making Forkies for your kiddos Toy Story birthday party or guiding you through the challenges of a memorial service. These are the meaningful event moments I love most.

Don’t forget to look back sometimes…

The hospitality industry seems to be constantly looking forward. New ways to gather, to create, to celebrate. Which is an amazing thing. BUT it’s important to look back at what we have done, the ways we have managed to gather in-spite of X, Y, or Covid.

Where I am now is because of my big sister who inspires me constantly, because of opportunities to learn from some amazing women, and because of a determination to make my dreams a reality.
