Here’s Liz teaching the finesse of lamination, the art that gives our sourdough pastries their beautiful, buttery layers. She brings years of experience from Bouchon Bakery in Napa Valley — and it truly shows in every bite. 💛

Fall brings change — and for us, that means more time for coffee and pastries! ☕🍁

We’ve updated our hours, and Thursdays just got a little sweeter. We’ll now be open 7 AM – 4 PM, just like the rest of the week!

Here’s our full fall schedule:
🌞 Mon–Sat: 7 AM – 4 PM
☕ Sun: 8 AM – 3 PM

So many good things are growing right now, and we love bringing them straight into our kitchen here on South Hill. 🌱

This week’s menu is full of seasonal ingredients from our local farm friends:
🥟 Empanada → black radish from Vinegar Flats
🥧 Farmer’s quiche → swiss chard from Vinegar Flats
🍓 Pastries → sweet berries from Aichele Farms
🌽 Meat quiche → fresh corn from Spring Water Farms

We’re so grateful for these growers who keep Spokane’s food community thriving. Supporting them means fresher flavors for you — and every pastry, quiche, and empanada tells the story of what’s growing right here in the Inland Northwest. 💛

Before most of Spokane is awake, our ovens are already at work. 🌅🥐✨

Every morning on South Hill, the kitchen fills with the smell of butter, berries, and fresh dough as we bake everything from scratch. We let the seasons guide what comes out of the oven — from zesty pesto empanadas 🌾 to berry galettes 🍓 and tender scones.

By the time you walk through our doors, the case is full of golden, flaky pastries, still warm from the morning bake-off. 💛 Pair one with your favorite coffee ☕ and taste what’s fresh right now.

Our food is only as good as our ingredients — and we’re so grateful for the bounty our local farms provide! 🌱👨‍🌾

Right now, the fresh flavors come together in our zesty pesto empanada. We folded in spring onions, mizuna, turnips, lovage, oregano, and more — all straight from nearby farms and even our own little backyard garden.

👀 Fun challenge: first person to guess the flower on our table wins a free latte! ☕
