Boy, look at that forecast. Looking pretty darn good 1 week out. Crossing fingers that it stays like that or possibly a few degrees warmer. Whoop whoop!
Rock the Locks 2023 will be one of the most unique rock festivals on the Westcoast (or as some say, the BESTcoast). 3-day rock festival on a golf course. Beautiful green grass setting along the Columbia River near McNary Dam (hence the LOCKS part of the name).
You want to golf in the morning and rock at night? We got you covered.
You want to do some amazing Salmon Fishing in the morning, on the Columbia River, and rock out at night? We got you covered.
Want to do a little Kayaking on the Columbia River? We got you covered.
Want to chill and listen to music from your campsite? Yep, we got you covered there also with onsite camping on the golf course.
You missing your college or pro football games on Saturday and Sunday? Of course we got you covered there also with big screens setup in the food vendor area.
Are you into nature walking or catching the Salmon runs? Take a trip around the area, especially along the Umatilla River and watch them run. Pretty cool sight to see.
So many great things to do in the Umatilla/Hermiston area. If you are not familiar with the area, do some web researching and make some plans.
Bring a lawn chair and kick back on the nice green grass and rock out to some of the best rock acts in the industry. Or, take your spot up front in the General Admission standing area and catch a show or 2.
There will be plenty of refreshment stations for you to choose from to keep you hydrated. There will also be a water bottle refilling station for those needing a little H2O or purchase some from the Mason's water and soda tent.
If you want to have your cake and eat it to, you might want to purchase the VIP package that includes upfront viewing area in front of the stage and beverages. There are a few remaining 3-day VIP tickets left and there are options to do a 1-day VIP upgrade or upgrade your current 3-day ticket to VIP (both of those options are very very limited).
