Hi friends!
It’s officially May and officially starting to feel like it! Spring is the perfect time of the year to take advantage of the mild weather and beautiful blossoming trees.

Living in West Des Moines now, I am having mini sessions around your (and my!) busy schedule, and Okoboji friends…. I’ll be there multiple weeks/weekends all summer, so if you’d like them up there, that’s great too!

Every year I make sure we slow down just long enough to crawl into Christmas pajamas, pile onto the bed, and freeze this moment in time. ✨
Because these seasons don’t last… and one day the bed will be quieter, the pajamas won’t match, and the little faces won’t wake me up before the sun.

So I take the picture.
I make the memory.
I choose the magic — even on the hard years.
