Well, I guess I should make an official announcement for those of you that don’t already know…This is difficult, but I do know with 1000% certainty and confidence that this is the right decision for my family and I at this time.
I have decided to close my business, Floral Expressions by Jenni. Back when I started in 2013, I was young, single, and quite honestly didn’t know what the heck to do with my life! So, I took a leap of faith and it ended up being something I became so passionate about. I have thoroughly enjoyed and have been honored to get to know so many wonderful people and families through their best of times and also their worst of times. Many have become friends so I know this isn’t goodbye. There is nothing to be sad about.
Since September of 2013, I met my husband, moved to Buffalo and made the commute sometimes 7 days a week, married my husband, moved the shop from Brighton to Spencerport that very same month, moved back to Spencerport, had twin baby girls at the start of a worldwide pandemic (don’t recommend, I’m still surprised I survived), and sent said babies off to kindergarten (they just turned 6)! If you remember my first baby Lola Belle from her days working with me, we just lost her six month ago. A lot of life has been lived with this business and now is the time for me to focus on my family as we enter a new stage. My girls are really starting to live their little lives and Mama doesn’t want to miss a thing. I won’t.
With all that being said, I will still take **limited, smaller weddings by referral only**. My lease is up for my workspace at the end of May, so anything else I do after that will be done at home. This does NOT in any way, rest assured, effect the events I have already committed to.
Most importantly, I want to thank everyone, with the sincerest of gratitude, that has supported me the last 13 years. The loyal customers, friends, family, and family that was also cheap labor! I could write a book about all the ways in which you have been so wonderful to me, but the words wouldn’t be enough. THANK YOU and sending so much love back to al!🤍🩷💜
Edit to add that I will no longer be monitoring this page in a little bit, but I will still post pictures of any work that I do on my instagram!
