TRIO SSS Senior Spotlight #9💡
Megan Abbott, another one of our seniors who will walk across the stage on May 10th shared, "TRIO has greatly helped me achieve my goals and make it to graduation. I vitalized the advising the most of all of the TRIO features. Nathan, my advisor, would do everything he could to get me what I needed on my schedule, all while joking around and having fun too! I am so grateful to him and all of the TRIO staff. I also greatly benefited from TRIO tutoring and got an A in my worst subject, math, because of it! I appreciate all that TRIO has done for me and countless other students." After graduation, Megan plans to pursue a career in the National Park Service, working seasonally, hopping around from one beautiful place to another, educating the public about all of the wonderful science, history and beauty all throughout the country. Megan hopes to inspire others to care about the environment and maybe even go to school to become a park ranger too! This summer she will be working at a volcano, last summer she was in a cave, who knows where she will be after! Congratulations Megan! 🎉
