We want to thank you all for stopping by our new retail facility during our opening weekend!! We are so grateful for the community excitement and presence from both old & new customers! After months of remodeling it was the best feeling to see so many of you come out this weekend!! Thank you to all of our loyal clients over the past 5+ years & those that have been a continued customer since the Johnson family many years before that.

We are working to get all of your favorites back on the shelf very soon, as well as new sausage creations!! Huge shoutout to our entire team as they worked so hard to make this weekend possible for everyone. We are so proud of our Butcher Block family. We all hope you enjoyed our opening weekend as much as we did!

🎉We have some exciting news about the future!! If you have heard the rumors around town they are true! 😉

We are moving our retail meat case and all of our award winning sausages into a new location. Bigger meat case, more sausage, same great quality!!
320 Ryan road in Spearfish South Dakota will be the new home of all of your favorite items and cuts you all have grown to know and love, along with a new state of the art sausage kitchen!! We are hoping to open our doors this fall and will keep you all posted as that time comes closer, as we will be having our grand reopening celebration that you won't want to miss!!

We will continue to use our current location for all of our wild game intake and production. Don't worry, you will still have a place to drop off all of your deer, elk, antelope, and buffalo!! This will allow us to take in more game, get yours back to you faster, and give you great quality cuts & sausage!

Finally, we would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the customers that we have had over the years. The new comers, and the consistent regulars, We couldn't do this without you! Thank you all for giving us the opportunity to grow and serve you only the finest cuts!! We will keep all of you updated on the progress of the new retail site. For now, as the new building is being built we will continue to operate as normal within the original shop. We look forward to serving you as always!!!
