We love all the different personalities we get to experience here at The Music Camp! Wedding season is our favorite. Thankful to everyone who books with us!

We still have an ongoing fundraiser for our home that flooded on Swannanoa as well as restoration efforts at our beautiful venue! See our story for a link to the go-fund-me or send donations directly via Venmo -brousseau

We are back in business y’all!

Disaster may strike but we always bounce back. Thank you to everyone for your kind words and support as we move forward from Hurricane Helene.

Two back-to-back weddings is leaving us filled with lightness and love, and we want to share that with you!

What’s something you’re grateful for today?

We are making insane progress on our Asheville home with the help of so many amazing people.

Starting work on the music camp in the next week, as we prepare for back to back weekend weddings. We are so grateful that our venue will be able to continue hosting!

Feeling so proud of our community. We will build back better and even stronger!

We do have a gofundme if you feel called to support our restoration efforts! Every dollar helps so much.

Pam and I have survived Helene. The Swannanoa River washed over both stories of our home last Friday. It has been the best week of our lives! We have come to know the true grit and kindness of our neighbors and friends and families. People are amazing! Our thanks and appreciation go out to so many people who have put themselves at risk to get us supplies and offer support of every description. Doug Keefer and Nelle Gregory, Jim Errante and Cabe Pannel, Tony & Megan Hume, Jason Guadagnino and Suzy Newsome, Matt & Lora Woltz, Doug & Marianne Wynne, John and Lisa Featherston, Eric and Jenifer Mullins, Mike Sheehan, Michelle Smith and Houston, Melita & Ramon, Jim & Jennifer Montague, each and every neighbor, Los Angeles Fire and rescue, Illinois Fire and Rescue, Bernie Woodall, Michelle Hobough, Kelsey Beth & Alexa, Jon Nielsen, Shanda Christian, Mark and Carol Perrone, Josh Phillips, I know I’m not thinking of everyone as I write this post. So many others show up each day to ease our trauma. I have not yet been able to respond to all the calls, offers, well wishes and contributions. Previously unknown friends have offered food, housing, money, labor and equipment. It’s overwhelming. I don’t know if our home is salvageable and if it is we are not sure it’s something we want to repeat. Time will tell. For now Pam and I have my Mother’s apartment to retreat to and our cats are also safe. We do not have flood insurance and the prospects for Government assistance seem grim. Pam and I humbly ask for your assistance. Please don’t hurt yourselves by over donating. We would rather see small contributions from many than for anyone to break themselves. We are very grateful to all who have contributed so generously already. We have raised over $4000. My Venmo is -Brousseau and I will figure out other cash apps as soon as I can.

We will respond to each of you as soon as we can. We are getting our immediate needs met for supplies but this is going to be a long haul to find footing again.

-Brousseau

Love is real…stay safe.
