This girl is so fierce and inspiring!
I was SO HONORED when she asked me to take her senior portraits. You can imagine how excited I got when she chose the graveyard location and was willing to experiment with levitation and smoke bombs!

While Dia De Los Mu***os is traditionally celebrated on November 1st & 2nd, my hometown is honoring the annual celebration today, with the All Souls Procession.
I came across these old photos that I must have taken in 2007 or so, and I'm reminded of the many years I participated in the , whether as a spectator, photographer, performer or as someone walking the procession to honor loved ones who have passed. All of the prayers and wishes I've burned in the urn still whisper to me around this time of year.
This event gains thousands of more attendees than each previous celebration, and even though it's put on by the fine people of Flam Chen, it is a night that's meant for much more than entertainment. This is a night of remembrance, honor, and respect.
The city does not help fund this important evening, so if you have experienced the magick of All Souls, please consider donating to Many Mouths One Stomach to keep this tradition alive.

Haven't posted in a while.
Haven't picked up my camera in a while.
My hands have been covered in mud, trying to get my new venture up and running.
I came across a memory on the socials of a time when I used to take yearbook photos for schools all across southern Arizona.
During that time in my life, I was reunited with this beautiful soul that I knew from high school, who got hired with the yearbook company at the same time as me.
We took all the photo gear home and would play around with the green screen... waaay before the advent of AI in photoshop.
I can't tell you how excited I am to see this beautiful woman for her birthday... it's going to be the highlight of my year!
I have a feeling we will be doing lots of little photoshoots when she comes to visit, just like we used to ..
