One by one, they stepped up, stared deeply at their reflections, and seemed genuinely impressed. Now they take turns like they’re in a beauty salon, mirror time has officially become the new coop ritual."

When FB ask what's on your mind I normally say I don't have enough time to type what's on my mind . ..but the last few days have been difficult in the kitchen! We lost one of our former employees way too early on in life! Deanna Tracy-Williams started working for me as a very shy but kind young lady that had been through alot already in her short life then . . 3 kids to raise and learning alot of hard lessons along the way. She was a determined young lady however and even though she stuck with me through alot of hard years she knew she wanted to have a career to grow into and be able to support those beautiful kids! She and her sister Sam got their GED's and from there on to be an EMT! ...I can't tell you how many calls Nucor made to trying to get her phone # . . They had been seeing her grow with me and knew she would be a great addition to their team. Finally, she let me pass it on to them . . She did the rest! I always teased her (and her mom) about her being like the daughter I never had. She made me so proud!

Any of course I can't put a story together in order so here's the sweetest part . . That handy man that I called on frequently and of course he was always Johnny on spot . . Not that he didn't do the jobs I asked for but little did I know there was a little romance building in the background with Jimmy Williams lol. I was so happy for the two of them! Finding love later in life (in their eyes) was the next phase b4 heading off from Sisterly Touch Catering lol . . The two of them! Just the sweetest biggest hearted couple you'll ever know . ..we ask why people like Deanna are taken from this earth way too early. . . I guess there is a plan for her loving caring spirit and trust she's watching over each and every one of those precious loved ones she's left behind! Hugs love and prayers to all she's touched in her life! We'll meet again and when we do I promise to have a pretzel salad waiting for ya!
