🎓 White County Fair Agricultural Scholarship Recipients Announced! 🎓

The White County Fair is proud to support the future of agriculture and human ecology through its annual Agricultural Scholarship, valued at $250. This scholarship is awarded to students pursuing degrees in fields that promote the advancement of agriculture and human ecology.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients:
• Breanna Powell, majoring in Poultry Science
• Dillon Parrish, majoring in Animal Nutrition

We applaud their dedication to agricultural studies and wish them continued success in their academic and professional journeys!

The White County Fairgrounds is getting a little facelift – and we couldn’t be more excited!

Over the years, our ballfield has been a place full of memories – from baseball practice to community gatherings – but with major repairs needed and limited use, it’s time for a new chapter. With the removal of the backstop and some thoughtful reconfiguring, we’re opening up valuable new space that will make this year’s fair even better.

➡️ More parking for both exhibitors and spectators
➡️ Extra space for vendors and fun fair experiences
➡️ A redesigned main entrance that improves flow and access

And here’s the real teaser... thanks to an incredibly gracious donor, we have a brand-new building in the works that’s going to be a game changer for the fairgrounds. We can’t spill all the details just yet, but trust us—it’s something the entire community is going to love!

This year, as we proudly celebrate our past, we’re just as excited about the future. While baseball hitting practice may have ended and the former ballfield area is no longer open for public use, the memories live on—and the silver lining is a future full of new traditions and exciting additions. 💙🎡
