White County Fair

White County Fair White County Agricultural Fair is located in Sparta, TN. Right in the heart of the Upper Cumberland! We are one of the oldest fairs in Tennessee.

Beginning in 1855, the White County Agricultural Fair has focused on the agricultural aspects of the local community. The Fair showcases the best of White County agriculture and recognizes those of our community who excel. Our success has been because of the many volunteers that put in long hours and much hard work before and after Fair week, not just the 9 days the Fair grounds are open. Your tim

e spent in viewing each exhibit and entry at the livestock shows, 4-H exhibits, Cultural Arts building and poultry house is time well spent. We invite you to attend the White County Agricultural Fair. Come each night and have a great time!

For years, the White County Agricultural Fair has served as more than just an annual event — it has been a gathering place for generations of families, farmers, exhibitors, businesses, and neighbors who share a deep love for community, tradition, and agriculture. As we proudly celebrate 250 years of American agriculture and 171 years of fair heritage, we honor the hardworking individuals whose dedication and perseverance helped shape not only our fair, but the very foundation of our nation.

Agriculture has always been the heartbeat of America. It is woven into the story of our families, our communities, and our way of life. From early mornings in the barn to late nights preparing exhibits, from family farms passed down through generations to young exhibitors showing livestock for the very first time, agriculture teaches responsibility, resilience, sacrifice, and pride. The White County Agricultural Fair continues to stand as a reflection of those values year after year.

Throughout the decades, the fairgrounds have become a place where memories are made and traditions are carried on. It is where grandparents bring grandchildren to experience the same sights, sounds, and excitement they once enjoyed themselves. It is where ribbons are won, friendships are formed, and community spirit shines brighter than ever. From the midway lights and grandstand entertainment to the livestock barns, cultural arts exhibits, pageants, competitions, and agricultural showcases, every part of the fair tells a story of dedication and hometown pride.

This year’s fair is especially meaningful as we celebrate a true Champion of Champions year — recognizing the people who continue to make our fair and community extraordinary. The volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, the exhibitors who dedicate countless hours to their projects, the businesses and sponsors who support local traditions, and the families who return year after year all play a role in preserving the legacy of the White County Agricultural Fair.

As we celebrate our past, we also look ahead to the future. The fair is not only about honoring traditions — it is about inspiring the next generation to continue them. It is about encouraging young leaders, supporting agriculture, strengthening community bonds, and ensuring that the values we hold dear continue for generations to come.

This year’s theme represents exactly what the White County Agricultural Fair stands for. It reflects the relationships we continue to build, the accomplishments we celebrate, and the lasting impact we hope to leave behind for future generations.

Join us as we celebrate a year unlike any other with our Champion of Champions fair theme:

✨ “Cultivating Community, Harvesting Champions, Building a Legacy” ✨

Together, we will celebrate the people, traditions, and heritage that make the White County Agricultural Fair a place unlike any other — where community grows, champions are made, and legacies live on. 🌾🏆
