The Market at the Beer and Brat Street Festival! We are so excited to bring you a massive outdoor shopping experience right in the heart of downtown Sparta, while the beer is flowing and the brats are sizzling, the streets will be shut down!

Whether you’re looking for a unique Father’s Day gift, something new for the home, or just a little "treat yourself" moment after this brutal Michigan winter, The Market has you covered with 70+ of incredible artisan vendors!

When to shop: Downtown Sparta Friday June 19th | 4 PM – 8 PM - Saturday June 20th| 11 AM – 8 PM

2026 Michigan Market Managers Applications Are Now Open

We’re excited to begin planning for the 2026 season and are now accepting applications for three of our upcoming markets.

Please note:
We are still waiting on final confirmation for Christmas on the Ridge, pending high school approval

A Spring Market is currently in the planning phase, with more details to be shared after the New Year

🍎 Market on the Ridge at Sparta’s Michigan Apple Festival | A Sparta Tradition
The Market on the Ridge at Sparta’s Michigan Apple Festival is back, and it’s one of those weekends that just feels like fall in Sparta.
Join us Friday, September 18th from 4–8 PM and Saturday, September 19th from 11 AM–7 PM for a family-friendly event focused on everything apples and bringing people together. You’ll find a well-curated group of artists, makers, and boutiques, along with food trucks, live music, and cider tastings throughout the festival.
This market has become a favorite year after year—families strolling, kids enjoying treats, friends catching up, and shoppers finding those special pieces you don’t see everywhere else. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and all about community.

The 40th Annual Fine Art and Makers Market at Lowell High School is back—and this one is extra special. After a two-year hiatus, we proudly brought this long-standing Lowell tradition back last year, and this year we’re making it bigger, better, and one to remember.
Join us Saturday, December 5th from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM for a thoughtfully curated, handmade-only market featuring even more vendors and a beautiful mix of fine artists, makers, fresh wreaths, micro bakeries, gourmet food, and truly unique holiday finds you won’t see anywhere else.
Admission is $5-Kids FREE (benefiting the Lowell Cheerleaders)
