The craziest month in the hospitality world began at Thanksgiving this year by preparing and serving 8000 meals for American Airlines and came to a close yesterday with the privilege of serving another 9000 meals to American Airlines at DFW Airport Terminal C!

Sandwiched in between those two massive undertakings, the Scratch Catering & Fine Foods team was blessed to work seven days a week, executing numerous events every day. As such, we are closing the kitchen and will return to normal operations Monday, January 5, 2026. 

Thank you to all of our clients who trusted us with their holiday celebrations, parties, lunches and dinner.

One of the guiding principles at Scratch Catering & Fine Foods is “ Always Answer The Phone” as you never know who may be on the other end.

Phone rings on Sunday afternoon during Cowboys game and a client wants to host an executive dinner on Monday. Less than 24 hours later, our team at Scratch Catering & Fine Foods is serving fifty “C” level executives on the banks of Turtle Creek in the heart of Dallas. As the majority of the guests in attendance did not reside in the great State of Texas, the ability to serve dinner under the stars surrounded by the serenity of the creek and natural lighting, made for a spectacular evening.

Menu for the evening featured Osso Bucco & Bourbon Glazed Atlantic Salmon, accompanied by potato au gratin and blackened Brussels sprouts. Dessert trio plate was nothing short of decadence with tres leche cake, creme brûlée and a trio of mouse filled chocolate shells.

Just another Wednesday night hosting 300 VIP Guests at the Grand Opening for Medical City Arlington newest Patient Tower addition. Decorations, music and departure gifts, along with gourmet appetizers and full bar service made for a fabulous evening.

Very honored this it the third event Scratch Catering & Fine Foods has hosted Grand Opening Events for Medical City Group.
