After closing Thistle & Moon, I spent a lot of time considering what I wanted to do next in this new chapter. When considering leaving the wedding industry, I found myself truly heartbroken by the idea of walking away from both florals and an industry that has meant so much to me the past 5 years. Which makes this announcement all the sweeter:
I have joined the team as the new Director of Floral Design. Based here in NC and founded in 2010, Rebecca Rose Events is a full-service destination event planning, design and production firm. I am excited to continue and grow the legacy of in-house floral design that has been so foundational to RRE’s distinctive approach to event design for so many years.
The team has been so warm and welcoming already. Their collaborative energy is exactly what I’ve been missing.
And yes — this Instagram page is coming with me so I can keep sharing all my floral adventures with you even though I have moved to Winston-Salem. Thank you for being here, always.
