We’re loading up the trolley and heading out on a mission that includes:

☕ Coffee
🧁 Cupcakes
🥐 Pastries
🍹 Morning spritzers
😌 Absolutely zero guilt

First we’ll caffeinate at Swank, where the coffee is top-notch, the atmosphere is cozy, and the perfect start to a morning of treating ourselves.

Then we’ll make a sweet little stop at C-Cups because cupcakes are basically self-care. From classic favorites to creative flavors, this local gem knows exactly how to satisfy a sweet tooth.

And for the FIRST TIME EVER on the trolley…

We’re heading to DeLucia’s Bake Shop in West End. 👏

We’re talking authentic Italian baked goods, New York-style favorites, Southern treats, bagels, pastries, cookies, and enough carbs to make your fitness watch file a formal complaint. 😭🤣

The whole time we’ll be rolling through the Pines with morning spritzers, good music, great company, and not a single vegetable in sight.

As the good Lord intended. 🙌

Let’s get this summer started in a BLAZE… well maybe just a pretend blaze and ice cream 😉🔥🍦

Grab the kiddos and climb aboard the Sandhills Trolley for one of our favorite annual traditions filled with games, singing, dancing, laughs, and nonstop fun as we roll over to Southern Pines Fire Station #2 for a blazing cool visit with REAL firefighters 👨‍🚒🚒

Then we cool things down with a FREE scoop of delicious ice cream at Highlander Farm because honestly… summer doesn’t officially start until somebody’s holding melting ice cream in a parking lot 😂☀️🍨

We’re throwin’ it ALL the way back… and not the watered-down version either. 😎🔥

We’re talkin’ when Magnum P.I. shorts were considered sexy, tub socks couldn’t be pulled up high enough, and crop tops paired with what our parents lovingly called “hoochie shorts” made a full-blown statement. 😂🩳

Banana clips were a must. Jelly shoes were a lifestyle. Pleated shorts? Don’t mind if we do. And if you didn’t smell like Giorgio or Drakkar Noir from at least a mile away… were you even trying? 💅💨

This was the generation whose curfew was when the street lights came on… 🌙

when E.T., Back to the Future, and The Breakfast Club ruled the drive-in… 📼🍿🚗

and Bon Jovi & The Cars blasted from our speakers while we dragged main like we owned the town. 🎸🎶

Today is a BIG day for us…

Sandhills Trolley is officially THREE YEARS OLD!! 🥳🚎✨

Three years of rolling through the Pines spreading fun, laughs, music, chaos, and adventures… and what a ride it has been!

From the very first trolley host to the Trolley Queen™ of the South still feels absolutely mind-blowing. I mean, who starts a whole new career at 52 and says, “I’m about to show these young’ens what a party looks like”? 😂

When we started, I was told to simmer things down. Be more of a “tourist attraction.” People probably wouldn’t dress up. The themes were… well… A LOT. 😬

And listen, I admit it.

I am a whole lot to handle.

But thankfully, so is my crew. Which is exactly why so many of them have been with me from the start, why we’ve added a few more wildly wonderful people along the way, and why this little trolley company now has a BIG name across the Carolinas and beyond.

And that is because of YOU.

Our trolley fans believed in us, showed up for us, dressed up with us, laughed with us, sang with us, and supported this crazy adventure every step of the way.

So ALL of June, expect fun little surprises on our cruises! You never know exactly what we’re going to do… but I can guarantee it’ll bring smiles and probably a few chuckles. 😉
