A sample of what you missed at the 2018 Cosplay And Photography Expo - CAPE!
Had a cool time at Cosplay And Photography Expo 2018
Set up this monstrous 12 light location set up with Dave Yang for funzies. (or at least mostly to prove that we could).
Light locations:
5 godox speed lights illuminating the side of the boat, gelled alternating blue, aqua, blue. Bare bulbed.
3 regular sized godoz on the subject, camera left (off the boat and up really high) medium silver softlighter with baffle. On the boat camera right white medium softlighter with baffle. Above and boomed over her, hair light in small deep octa, gelled yellow.
1 speedlight gelled orange shining through the ropes just behind the subject, catching the water spray.
1 regular godox on the center mast gelled orange. one pointing up, from behind the mast in a small soft box.
1 speedlight on the far mast, ungelled bare-bulbed pointing up.
1 godox on behind the far mast, in a small deep octa no gell edge lighting her, shining through the sheer cape, and throwing a little extra light on the interior of the boat.
