This Friday the Whitko Marching Pride heads to the world headquarters of the marching arts, Lucas Oil Stadium, for the Bands of America Indianapolis Super Regional! We are THRILLED to be sharing this prestigious stage with over 90 bands from all around the country! We are also looking forward to a memorable overnight trip in Indy, and watching most of the Saturday prelims slate of bands! This is sure to be a highlight of the season for our students!

We are SO PROUD to announce that the Whitko Marching Pride has qualified for ISSMA Semi-State Finals! This makes our 11th STRAIGHT YEAR qualifying for Semi-State! This year's adjustments to the qualification process makes this achievement even more difficult, and therefore even more rewarding. These students deserve all the cheers you can give them, so let's hear it! Congratulations everyone, and job well done!!!

Congratulations to all performing groups, and congratulations to the Whitko Marching Pride on earning a Gold Rating With Distinction in Visual! All Open Class bands will have to wait until tomorrow when scores are released from all sites in order to determine semi-state finalists. We had a TERRIFIC performance today!! Congratulations all!!!

It's Show Day! We are heading back to beautiful Carroll High School for the ISSMA Regional contest! Performance time is 12:45 PM and tickets are $13 and $7 for adults and students/seniors. This is your last chance to see the Marching Pride close to Whitko as we'll be heading to Indianapolis the next several weekends, so come out and cheer us on!

ISSMA has changed the qualification procedure from Regionals to Semi-State this year. The top half of bands (or in the case of odd numbers, the top half plus one) at each of the four Regional sites will automatically advance to Semi-State. Any remaining spots will go to the next highest scoring bands from across the state regardless of site.

While we are definitely hoping to earn one of those "automatic bids" we may be waiting a day to find out if we have earned an "at large bid" to Semi-State. Regardless of how today turns out we are incredibly proud of our season and the growth that has taken place. Stay tuned later today for the results!
