Non-Profit looking for free glass + aluminum bottle/can returnables? We are a large event catering company with a lot of returnables each season. OUR BAKERY IS HIRING!!!
We are looking for a talented, (ideally) experienced bread maker to join our team!
The range of breads we make is pretty broad, everything from German style pumpernickel to brioche rolls and baguettes. We use our beloved twenty year old sourdough starter in our traditional boules and bagels. Most are shaped by hand and baked in deck ovens.
Our workload is based on not only our catering company’s breads but also our bagel shop and a slew of local restaurants, cafes and shops throughout the Greater Portland area. Please be capable of working quickly and efficiently. The ability to lift fifty pounds is also necessary.
Compensation is based on experience, starting @ $16/hour. Full time employees are eligible for paid time off, IRA contributions and healthcare and dental insurance with employer contribution after 90 days.
We are committed to being as COVID-19 safe as possible. Masks are required during all shifts in the bakery & offices and hand sanitizer and disinfecting products are provided. Our location is not a retail space, the only people inside the building are the minimal staff. The space is also large, offering us the ability to maintain social distancing throughout most tasks. You will be required to follow all precautionary measures on a daily basis.

B+B is excited to add to our crew this season! We are hiring for all FULL TIME // PART TIME // ON-SITE // & DISHWASHING POSITIONS. Hourly compensation based on experience and event tips split between all team members. FULL TIME employees are eligible for paid time off and healthcare insurance with employer contribution after 90 days. Many positions are seasonal, though some year-round positions may be available. Ability to work weekends is strongly encouraged.
