These clips are from last fall, when the garden was overflowing and every row felt like a little treasure hunt. I still can’t get over how much beauty those plants give!

One of my winter chores is cleaning and organizing all of my garden tags. I keep the ones with dahlia varieties that I'll plant again next year, and all the others get wiped off with nail polish remover.

My favorite tags are the six inch ones. They are sturdy to use season to season, and this year I used twine through the holes to tie the tag to the dahlia stalk in preparation for digging, instead of flagging tape! Yay less plastic!

✨It’s almost go‑time! The shop opens for dahlia tuber shopping on 2/4, and I’m buzzing like a bumblebee about it. This year’s lineup has a wide range of varieties, from dependable go‑to workhorses to a few true unicorns.

✨ Heads up: everything will show as “sold out” until the shop officially opens.

Thank you for cheering me on and helping this little dream grow. I hope you find a tuber (or five) that makes your garden ridiculously happy.
