It has been way too long since I introduced myself, and we have plenty of new grazers following along! 💕 This one’s going to be a long one!

My name is Sherri, I am the Creative Director & Owner of Grazie Board Co. 👋🏽

I started this business a little over two years ago as a creative outlet during the pandemic. 🦠

I’d been working as a Meeting & Event Planner at a travel agency and when COVID hit, everything stopped. I was laid off on Friday the 13th. 😬 A couple of months later my department was dissolved completely, so there was no job to go back to. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I started working at a law firm with my admin experience. I appreciated having a job and a salary when jobs were hard to come by, but I was severely missing my creative outlet.

So I started Grazie. 🧀 The company name is a play on words. I was “crazy bored” without a creative outlet, and used “grazing” tables and cheese “boards” as my solution. So “Grazie (crazy/grazing) Board (bored/board) Company” was born. A lot of people pronounce it the Italian way for thank you (GRAH-zz) but it is meant to be (GRAY-z). I have always run Grazie in addition to a full-time job! 😅

Now, over two years later, I have been working for a year back in my field as a Meeting & Event Manager and loving every minute of a much busier full-time schedule and still running Grazie!

Along the way, I have paid two of my good friends from the law firm as help, been featured in Hour magazine, Detroit Eater, and with a handful of local influencers, grown tremendously in my skills, and have spent many a Friday nights cutting cheese while singing along to Meghan Trainor.

My husband is my biggest supporter, he was the one that suggested I start Grazie.

My favorite colors are pink & yellow, I am a night owl,🦉a soda drinker,🥤a born and raised Michigander, 🧤and an Enneagram 8.

I love cheesy Netflix Christmas romcoms, 👩‍❤️‍👨 baking, 🥧 craft cocktails, 🍸 traveling, 🏞 and online shopping. 💸

Hello! I am back from the dead! I realize I have not posted since August 31. 😅 I’ve still been doing boards in the background, my life just got a little bananas.

For all of you last minute planners, I still have quite a few spaces open for Thanksgiving boards. Every timeslot is one board, so if you want two, you need to select two slots. All holiday orders are pick up only from South Lyon. All orders need to be placed by the end of the day tomorrow, on Monday.
