I am so moved by Sydney's remarkable strength and resilience in the face of the tragic death of Dillon. Losing the love of her life at such a young age, while pregnant and raising their two little ones, is a challenge that few can imagine. And yet, she navigates this difficult time with such poise and determination.
Sydney is like a daughter to me, and I have had the privilege of watching her grow into the strong and compassionate woman she is today. Her and my daughter were best friends. Although she and my daughter grew apart over time, Sydney has always remained close to me, and we share a bond that is built on trust, love, and mutual respect. We have laughed together, cried together, and supported each other through thick and thin.
When Sydney asked me to take her maternity pictures, although I wanted to, I was a little hesitant, wondering how I could capture the joy and love that these pictures typically represent, given the difficult circumstances. However, I was determined to do justice to this moment, to honor Sydney, Dillon, and their children, and to create a lasting tribute to their love and legacy.
Dillon, your memory will never be forgotten, and your loved ones will continue to celebrate your life, your love, and your laughter. Your love for Sydney and the kids will always be remembered. Just a heads up... be ready for an ass beating when Syd gets up there, for leaving her.
Sydney, you are a true inspiration, a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit. You are carrying a precious legacy, and I have no doubt that you will continue to nurture and protect it, just as you have always done.
Briley, Declan, and Dutton, you are blessed to have a mother like Sydney, who will always be there for you, guiding you, supporting you, and loving you unconditionally.
I am honored to be a part of your lives, and I promise to always be here for you, with love, support, and encouragement.
