I’m thrilled to have been accepted into the Women's Executive Leadership Institute in Indianapolis and am looking forward to the expansion and new opportunities that lie ahead. Our first session will be with Mel Raines, CEO of Pacers Sports and Entertainment, and I am eager to learn and grow from her experience.

Today, I had the honor of meeting Mel Raines, a native of South Bend, who is also the recipient of the USA Woman of the Year award. She attended Hay Elementary and Jackson Middle School in South Bend, and her story is truly inspiring.

As a visionary leader, I am constantly stepping into new territories and embracing unfamiliar challenges. Through this journey, I have learned to navigate uncharted waters and am growing by doing so, even when it means stepping out of my comfort zone.

Soulful Kitchen Family please follow Hope for the Hungry

One of my assignments is to break the back of poverty, and I’m honored to be chosen to break this curse.
Hope for the Hungry had the pleasure of sitting on the panel with three of the top organizations that fight poverty.

At Hope for the Hungry, we target the root cause of poverty and strive to help people become self-sufficient, while also providing food through our food pantry. I love sharing my story about my struggle with poverty and hopes of changing someone else’s life .

I will cry loudly and spare not!!🙌🏾

Easy Game Day Recipe!

Get ready for the Notre Dame vs Ohio State game with this Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip – perfect for snacking while you cheer on your team! 🏈

Ingredients: • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie works great!)
• 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup ranch dressing
• 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
• 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• Green onions

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°.
Mix the cream cheese, ranch dressing, and buffalo sauce until smooth.
Stir in the shredded chicken, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, and green onions.
Transfer to a baking dish (8x8-inch recommended).
Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
Serve with chips, crackers, or veggies, and enjoy the perfect game day dip!
