I had an amazing time visiting La Casa today! It was such a pleasure to share my story and lead a cooking demonstration with the students.

We had meaningful conversations about community, culture, and the power of food to bring people together. I was excited to share my style of cooking and introduce the students to some Southern culinary traditions.

I’m especially proud of the students who jumped right in picking collard greens, practicing knife skills, and embracing the hands-on experience with enthusiasm and curiosity.

A huge thank you to Roberto Leal for his leadership and commitment to creating opportunities like this for our community. Your impact does not go unnoticed.

And as a bonus... everyone loved the collard greens! 😊

Soulful Kitchen Culinary School is excited to offer a 3-week Culinary Summer Camp for current 10th and 11th grade high school students who are interested in the culinary and hospitality industry!!

This hands-on program is designed to help students develop real culinary skills, confidence, creativity, and career exposure in a professional learning environment.

At the conclusion of the program, students will be tested and may receive an industry-level certification upon successful completion.
Whether students are interested in becoming chefs, entrepreneurs, or simply learning valuable life and career skills, this camp is designed to educate, inspire, and prepare the next generation.

Last night, I rocked the tuxedo mermaid dress and felt amazing at the Ivy Tech Gala!

I am so grateful to Aaron Schneider for the invitation, and I truly appreciate my girl Tiffany Marie for joining me. I absolutely love Ivy Tech Community College.

Shout out to the culinary team for the beautiful hors d’oeuvres and excellent service.
I remember when it was me serving in 2019. Full circle moments like this mean so much. ♥️♥️

What an honor it was to cater breakfast for 150 women at the LeadHership SBM event this morning. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve such an inspiring group of women.
