One thing I’ve learned in this entrepreneurship world is that scared money don’t make money. Sometimes we have to take big risks, bet on ourselves, and step into uncomfortable situations to reach the next level.

When we get too comfortable, we usually stay in the same place. But when we become uncomfortable, that’s when we’re forced to move differently, think bigger, and grow. Discomfort doesn’t always mean something is going wrong sometimes it means we’re finally going somewhere.

None of us started a business just to play it safe. We’re building something that can change our lives, take care of our families, and create a legacy. The pressure, sleepless nights, sacrifices, setbacks, and uncertainty are all part of the journey.

So, to every entrepreneur stay hungry, keep applying pressure, and don’t let fear talk you out of your blessing. Get uncomfortable and go get everything with your name on it!

Today started off real rocky. It felt like everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Frustration was high, but I had to remind myself to keep pushing.

As the day went on, things started coming together. The patience and understanding from our customers, the support from friends, and most importantly, MY TEAM reminded me just how blessed I am.

I truly want to thank my whole team from the bottom of my heart. None of this would be possible without you. You showed up, worked hard, adjusted when things didn’t go as planned, and helped make it happen.

Today wasn’t perfect, but we got through it TOGETHER. We learned, adjusted, and kept moving.

I’m humbled, grateful, and thankful for everyone who continues to support Southern Aroma. This journey is bigger than me, and today reminded me of that. 🙏🏾❤️

Good Morning Today is a big day. 🙏🏾💙

First Notre Dame home game for Southern Aroma, and I’m walking into it grateful, focused, and ready. My prayer today is simple: Lord, cover me, my team, our food, our customers, and everything connected to Southern Aroma. Give us strength, patience, favor, great energy, smooth operations, and a successful day. Let everything we prepared for come together the way it’s supposed to.

No matter how nervous or tired I may be, today I’m choosing faith over fear. This is only the beginning.

I want to personally thank Javon Small of the Memphis Grizzlies for giving Southern Aroma the opportunity to prepare his meal preps! 🏀🔥
It means a lot anytime someone trusts my business with what they’re putting into their body, especially an athlete performing at the highest level. We take pride in providing meals that are flavorful, prepared with care, and made with love every single time.

Good Morning. One of my elders told me something I needed to hear: “Get you some rest. God brought you to it, and He’s going to get you through it.” 🙏🏽
That hit different.
Between the Notre Dame concession stands, the business, the long days, early mornings, pressure, responsibilities, and just life in general, sometimes I get so focused on the next thing that I forget to stop and realize how far God has already brought me.
Everything doesn’t have to be figured out today. Sometimes you have to trust the process, trust what God placed in front of you, do your part, and allow yourself to rest too.
I’m learning that rest doesn’t mean I’m stopping. It means I’m getting ready for what’s next.
God brought me to it. He’ll bring me through it. One day at a time. 🙏🏽💯
