This from one of the pro wrestlers of
Total Wrestling Federation, Inc. at our recent event:
SUMMER SMASH with Total Wrestling Federation
The event he is referring to was also a
Don't Call Me Mike Productions event to raise money for the skate park that unfortunately did not materialize in Tuolumne City. It was about 22 years ago.
"A Love Letter to Tuolumne, CA
Dear Tuolumne CA,
I first experienced your beauty about 30 years ago when my old punk band played a huge skate fest at this venue in the middle of your quaint, serene town. It was one of my favorite shows ever. I always enjoyed performing for the smaller towns on tour. Fans just seemed less jaded and out to have a good time without any chip on their shoulder. They weren’t the type that just stood there with their arms crossed. They drank in and savored every second. That lust for life made it easy for us to reciprocate as performers.
Fast forward to 2025/2026, and I get to perform again for you in that same venue, however this time, under a mask.
That unbridled love and passion you have for enjoyment is still alive within your community. You still make it easy for us to remember why we do what we do. You make it easy for us to reignite our love for professional wrestling.
You have something special in your community. You have a legion of folks who work hard to cultivate a great scene. You have performers happily willing to drive all day to get to you. Most of all, you have you. You are amazing families that come out in droves. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles spending a night out with your kids. Groups of friends having a few frosty adult beverages and screaming your lungs out. I even appreciate those troublemakers in the crowd who like to “boo the good guys.”
Tuolumne, you make the sacrifices worth it. You make the aches and pains of what we do a small price to pay for the thrill of performing and competing for you. Thank you for being you.
I’m proud to be from Sacramento, CA and representing the town of Cuxpala in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico (my mom’s hometown), but there’s a very special place in my heart for the town of Tuolumne, CA."
XOXO
Don’t go changing,
El Flaco Loco
