Buffalo Homebrew Club Events Buffalo club here We’re a hoppy bunch of home brewers and beer enthusiasts who celebrate the magical alchemy of mash, water, and yeast.

The Buffalo Club is named after an old western drinking game. The story goes that back in them olden days, Cowboys didn’t want to be caught dead (literally) with a beer in their shooting hand, so they drank with their off hand. Sharp-eyed buddies who caught their friends drinking with their good hand would shout, “Buffalo!”, and the unfortunate cowboy would have to drown the whole brew and start a new beer.

Not a club event, but worth mentioning. The Sierra Vista Beer, Wine, and Spirits fest is Saturday at Veterans; Memorial Park. It runs from noon to 7 pm. TBC will be pouring Koelsch, English Mild, IPA, and Imperial Porter. Each ticket entitles you to either one 16 oz pour or four 4-oz pours (a flight). Old Bisbee and Firetruck will also be at the event, as well as a few distilleries and about a dozen or more wineries.

Still not sure how far along the building will be in May, but am still planning on meeting there. Walls are up, but no roof or doors or windows yet. Still hoping for a June opening.
In the event that TBC is not yet available for our use, either John or Bill will host the May meeting and judging.

Hey beer lovers! The club is going on a beer crawl this Saturday, 09/11/21. If you would like to meet up with our club at any of the breweries to hang out and have a beer, our itinerary is as follows:

Our tentative itinerary is as follows: 11:30 lunch and beer at Casa Marana then off to Catalina Brewing at 1:00, Button Brew House at 2:00, Tap and Bottle North at 3:00, Dillinger Brewing at 4:00, Dragoon Brewing at 5:00, then heading back to Benson at 6:00.

Our next monthly club meeting will be on Sun., April 11, 2-6 pm, at Lions Park under a Ramada. Please bring camping chai...
