Boston's Inaugural
Ceviche Day Unites
Communities, Celebrates
UNESCO-Honored Peruvian Heritage, and Supports Local Students
Boston, MA – June 19, 2025 Perú in Boston,with the support of Marca Perú, proudly announces the first-ever Ceviche Day in Boston, taking place Thursday, June 26th, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Lounge Terrace at Surf Seafood Restaurant in Woburn, MA.
Ceviche Day is more than a food event, it’s a celebration of unity, culture, and giving back. Recognized by UNESCO as an IntangibleCultural Heritage of Humanity, ceviche is a symbol of Peru’s rich culinary tradition. This inaugural event will bring together Bostonians
and the broader community to honor this dish and the heritage it represents.

- Jorge Beteta (Osaka, Peru)
- Rodrigo Baranao (Casa Espoz, Chile)
- Allan Rodrigues (Boston chef and
entrepreneur)
- Jose Duarte (sustainable cuisine advocate)
- Jose Davila (Surf Seafood, Woburn)
- Walter Romero (Founder of Perú in
Boston)
- Tasting of authentic ceviche varieties and a welcome cocktail with Peruvian pisco
- Live music, traditional cultural
performances, and networking with local business leaders
Social Impact:
10% of all proceeds will provide scholarships for minority high school seniors in Boston, helping them pursue higher education andcreate a brighter future.
