💕 THIS WEEKEND 💕 Dearly welcomes Grace Arsenault for , 12-6 Sat + Sun.
One of my favorite things about Grace is that she’s too humble to write an artist bio so I get to go rogue and write one that will make her break out in hives:
Grace Arsenault is a Maine native who has spent the last 8+ years living in Somerville. Though she spends her days as a corporate girly, Grace is a multi-hyphenate artist (she writes, too, people!). She’s a lover of all things art, culture, and the intersection of art + culture: Ru Paul’s Drag Race. She’s a member of the Boston Ballet’s board of advisors and an unironic lover of the Vengaboys back catalogue. Those facts are not related except to say that a TouchTunes jukebox hates to see her coming.
For Somerville Open Studios, Grace is bringing along her collection “Crush Years” – acrylic and oil paintings that are a celebration of nostalgia, joy, and seriousness in frivolity.
