What a great winter I have had. Although I have been nursing my right foot, I have been working. I will be in South Carolina for a family wedding from April 9th to the 12th. Will be back to the kitchen on the 13th. Have a great weekend. Keep checking in...I am going to have this website updated soon.

Today was another great day. i delivered a full taco bar to Sam's Club 3 separate times today and they all went off without a hitch. Thank you Sam's Club for the opportunity.

This Saturday I will be cooking a Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner at the American Legion. Doors open at 6 and dinner will be served at 7. You may get a take out box. Today I am going to share a recipe that I have had for over 30 years and I make it at least 3 times a month and give them away. It is for banana bread. It is moist and delicious. Here goes:
1/4 cup of butter softened mixed with 11/3 cup of sugar then add 2 eggs one at a time and 1 tsp of vanilla. Then in a bowl mix 2 cups of flour with 1 tsp each of baking powder, baking soda and salt, you will need 1 cup sour cream and 1 cup mashed bananas. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture to the butter mixture then add half the sour cream then half the bananas, repeat but end with the flour mixture. Pour into 2 greased bread pans and bake at 350 for about 50 minutes or until golden. enjoy.
