On September 11, 2001, 343 firefighters from the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. These brave men rushed into the burning towers, knowing the dangers but driven by their duty to save lives. Despite the chaos, their heroism stands as a symbol of courage and selflessness. The 343 firefighters who perished that day remain forever honored, not just for their bravery, but for their unwavering commitment to service in the face of overwhelming tragedy. Their legacy lives on in the hearts of all who remember 9/11.

As we ready the car for the Legendary 100 this weekend at Cedar Lake Speedway (Thursday-Saturday) we are remembering not only the 343 firefighters but also the numerous other first responders and civilians who made a sacrifice that day.

Cedar Lake Speedway Results

Heat: P4

Feature: Started on the pole and finished 5th. Was able to lead 10 laps and jump out to an early advantage until the transmission shifted out of high gear likely due to the “character” of the racing surface! Learned a bunch and we are happy with the results!
