Money comes and goes. It really does. One minute you're checking your account thinking, “Okay, we’re doing alright,” and the next, you’ve bought snacks, sunscreen, and 47 things from the Target dollar section that somehow totaled $98.73. 😅
But here’s the thing—we’re not going to let a number on a screen rob us of these moments.
This summer, we’re choosing memories.
We’re choosing sticky popsicle hands, sandy feet, and car rides with windows down and music too loud. We’re saying yes to park days, late bedtimes, spontaneous ice cream runs, and letting the laundry pile up just a little because we’re outside chasing sunsets.
Our kids won’t remember what we spent—they’ll remember that we spent time.
They’ll remember the giggles, the splash fights, the way we made magic out of the ordinary.
So no, we’re not doing it all perfectly. And no, we’re not going on a luxury vacation.
But we are making this summer count.
Because childhood is short… and memories? Those are priceless. 🤍
