One of the best parts of this job has very little to do with flowers.

Today I got to deliver to a sweet friend I haven’t seen in quite some time. Sure, I was there to drop off an arrangement, but the flowers almost became secondary.

Sometimes it’s not about the business or the delivery at all. Sometimes it’s about getting to hug someone you care about, catching up for a few minutes, and being reminded how much those connections matter.

I hope the flowers made her day, but if I’m being honest, seeing her probably made mine just as much.

That’s one of the things I love most about what I do. Flowers have a way of bringing people together, even if only for a moment. 💛

Among the Thorns is getting a website makeover! 🌵✨
Same web address. Same flowers. Same slightly chaotic florist behind the scenes. 😂
We’re just moving to a new host that will make things a little more user-friendly and a lot easier to navigate. Because let’s be honest… I’d rather spend my time creating flowers than fighting with technology.
The new site is coming soon, but in the meantime you can still use the current website just like always.
Thank y’all for continuing to grow right alongside this little dream of mine. I can’t wait to show you what’s coming next. 💚

We’ve been keeping busy around the flower shop lately, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way!

This week has included a giveaway arrangement for the Western Swing Festival, flowers headed to Gypsy Jangle in Sweetwater for Rock the Block, anniversary flowers, and plenty of those “just because I love you” deliveries that never go out of style.

Every arrangement that leaves the shop has a story behind it, and we’re so thankful y’all continue to trust us to be a small part of those moments.

And because flowers don’t wait around for long… we still have a few fresh arrangements available and ready to go if you’d like to brighten someone’s day (or your own 😉).

It’s only June, but if you’ve ever waited until the last minute to order a Homecoming mum or braid, you know why I’m bringing it up now. 😅

Homecoming season will be here before we know it, and custom mums, garters, and braids take time to plan and order supplies for. Whether you want something simple and classic or big, bold, and over-the-top, now is the perfect time to get on the calendar.

The best part? We can make them as unique as the student wearing them. 💙❤️💛

When a friend texts late on a Thursday night asking, “Any chance you can make a small handheld bouquet before 9 tomorrow morning?” …

As always, my answer was, “Of course!” 💐

One of the things I love most about this job is getting to be a small part of life’s special moments, even when they come together at the last minute.

This sweet little bouquet was headed off for a very special day, and I couldn’t be happier for the happy couple.

Have you ever noticed that there's a cactus or succulent tucked into just about every arrangement that leaves my shop?

If you haven't, you might need to look a little closer next time. 🌵

Some are big and bold. Some are tiny and hidden among the blooms. Some steal the show, and some quietly blend in. But they're there.

It's become a signature of mine over the years. A little reminder that beauty really can be found among the thorns.
