The Highland Bowl is a legendary expert skiing area known for its steep, challenging terrain and backcountry-style experience. Originally deemed too dangerous for lift-accessed skiing, the bowl was unofficially skied by locals for decades before began managing it in the late 1990s. With the help of ski patrol and avalanche mitigation efforts, it officially opened in 2002.

The Bowl holds spiritual significance for many locals, and dive into it in my new film 80 for 80, dropping soon!

What I’ve always loved about the NEPSAs is the community it brings together. I’m so grateful for the incredible group of friends I have around me and all the wild, fun things we get to do together. This film—and every award—is a team effort. Sure, they call my name when handing out the prizes, but it’s my crew that makes it all happen—the ideas, the planning, the action. Nothing I create would exist without them. And honestly, that’s what these awards are all about—building a community and bringing everyone into it.
