We are looking forward to a wonderful evening with the Lower Shore Land Trust!

Join us at Coulbourn Farm on November 9th, 2024 from 3-6 pm for Flannel Formal!

The Coulbourn Farm, located at 7538 Whiton Road, has a rich history in Snow Hill with land acquired from 1850 to 1882. The Farm has gone through many names but their original and patented name is Wickers Neck from 1695. The farmhouse on the property was first built in the late 1800s by Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Powell and two additions were completed later in the early and mid 1900s. In 2018, the farm was bought by the current owners, Jill and Coard Bounds. Since then, the family has renovated the farm and structures including the barn in a way that respects the history of the property but allows for lasting use. The farm is now used for corn, soy, and lavender production. The Lower Shore Land Trust is thrilled to partner with Coulbourn Farm for the first time as host of the Flannel Formal!!

Worcester County Farm Bureau is selling $20 tickets to the annual Cow Pie Bingo for the scholarship fund. $1,000 first place prize, $700 for second, $300 for third. To get your tickets, you can get up with me or any other board member. If you want a certain Ticket Number we can accommodate, but be quick! They'll also be for sale at our booth at the Blessing of the Combines (if there are any left, only 400 squares)

Last spring we put these Grosso lavender plugs in. This first cutting is more of a pruning than a harvest, but we tied some up anyway.
