Just to let you know.
We hold food drives in November and December.
If you are able please bring non perishable food items or paper products to the jam.
Betty will be bringing the collected items to the Maltby Food Bank.

Our jam is coming up soon
In fact it’s on the 1st of November.
We are opening the doors at 1 pm for jamming.
At 5 pm we will have our potluck dinner
At 6 pm our open mic will start with a time of honoring our friend Loren Postma.
After that our regular stage show.
Hope to see you there.

For your information, Loren’s family will be hosting a celebration of his life at the club November 8th at 2 pm

As part of our ongoing work to help promote both the Maltby Jam and local bluegrass, we are partnering with the Outlanders folks for their next Opry @ Copperworks tasting room in Kenmore.
We are going to host a jam circle and give out flyers about our jam to get the word out to both audience and bands/musicians to come out and jam/perform.

Please come out to the Opry, Jam and listen to the great bands that will be there, we have got our friends the Lonesome Town Painters from north of the border to come down and perform.
If you have any guitar skills, they are having a guitar competition during the Opry with some great prizes.

Summer is fast coming to an end. We have been on hiatus since June and we are missing all the friends and the music. We have until October 4th before we are back to regular jams.
If you are looking for some music and jamming along with good old fashioned visiting, may we suggest you check out North Cascades Bluegrass Festival at the Deming Loggers Rodeo Grounds August 30-31. You will see some of our regulars there on stage and in the campground.
You can camp there or just come for a day.

We will return the first Saturday in October.
Until then we recommend you go to the festivals and enjoy the music there.
This weekend is Mount St Helens festival in Toledo Washington. Maybe we will see you there
