My name is Desiree May, Founder of Leave It to May Events! Event Planning has been a passion of mine for about 8 years now. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Delaware State University (Hornet Nation!) in May of 2012. To further my education and knowledge, I recently received my certification in Wedding and Event Planning from Del Tech in November of 2016. I have worked for the state for the past few years and gained direct experience in the wedding and event field, working everyday with clients on their details, logistics, timeline, securing vendors and much more. Whitney and Domineque's wedding was one to remember 🤎🤍💍 All the Fall vibes, all the neutral tones that highlight the natural beauty, wood elements and greenery in the venue.

We had such a beautiful experience styling an event at Bogey’s 🙌🏾 10/10 experience! The staff were friendly, super helpful and accomodating. Loved every minute!

This might go down as one of my favorites! The weather was perfect, the staff was super accomodating, the venue was beautiful, the decor just perfectly enhanced the natural aestectic of the venue, the guests were all super nice, the vibes were right all night and the love of the bride and groom overshadowed everything!

My linesister (🐘♥️ ) called and said "Here's my budget, here's the colors and vibe I like, sis do your big one!" 🍂🤍 At times I felt like I was bugging her because she truly was so laid back and left the styling decisions in my hands! I loved it🙌🏾

Saturday was such a beautiful day and I can't wait to share more from this wedding! Stay tuned for more 🤎
