Y’all absolutely drained us today—we couldn’t have asked for a better Saturday. 🔥

CORE MEMORY UNLOCKED at 2:30 AM this morning 👇

Bubby's been begging me for months — "Dad, I wanna wake up when it's still dark and go make the briskets with you."
Finally caved. Told him alright, little man, Friday morning, we roll out at 2:30am.
Me, his mama, and his grandma all took bets on how long he'd last. My money was on 9 AM tops.
He made it to 3 PM. No nap. Just pure energy.
Somewhere around noon, I could see the delusion setting in behind his eyes 😂 but that boy kept his poker face on like a grown man. Rubbed briskets, watched the fire, asked me 400 questions about when the sun was coming up and if the donut shop was open yet.
This is what it's all about right here. Not the trays, not the sellouts — this. Teaching my boys what it takes to keep this thing moving and putting food on our table. I'm hoping one day both of 'em take the apron from me and keep it going.
