We’re looking good—and we’re growing!

L.I. Knights Sports & Athletics is excited to announce that we have added a 13–15-year-old basketball team to our program!

We will now offer two age divisions:

🏀 11/12-Year-Old Team
🏀 13–15-Year-Old Team — NEW!

These photos capture exactly what our program is about: athletes learning, competing, building confidence and developing together under the guidance of committed coaches.

The growth continues, the opportunities continue, and we cannot wait to watch both teams represent the Knights this season!

⚾️ LOOK THROUGH THAT FENCE.

For years, girls who loved baseball have often found themselves looking through a fence at opportunities that weren’t necessarily built for them.

This team, proudly sponsored by Bulovas Restorations Inc. and Kaitlin Handley, State Farm Agent… this happened today!!!

Today, these girls were on the other side of it.

They weren’t watching.

They were pitching.
They were catching.
They were stepping into the batter’s box.
They were making plays.
They were competing.

And when it was over, they put their hands together as one team.

Our L. I. Knights Girls Baseball team went toe-to-toe with our 12U Boys team today. The boys earned a hard-fought 3–1 victory, but what happened on that field was much bigger than a scoreboard.

These girls showed that when they’re given the opportunity, they can play baseball.

Not softball.

Baseball. ⚾️

There is development ahead. There will be wins, losses, strikeouts, big hits, mistakes and incredible moments.

That’s sports.

But the hardest part was creating the opportunity in the first place.

Now it exists.

And these young ladies get to decide just how far they want to take it.

Someday, another little girl may see one of these pictures and realize there is a place for her in this game too.

That’s why today mattered.

We’re not asking anyone to open the gate anymore.

We opened it ourselves!!! Cause that’s what L. I. L. I. Knights Sports & Athletics does!!! 💙⚾️

And we’re just getting started…

WHEN THE BIG LEAGUES STAND BESIDE YOUTH SPORTS… 🏈⚔️

There are moments that remind you just how far you’ve come.

Today was one of them.

To have an organization at the highest level of professional sports open its doors to the L. I. Knights Sports & Athletics, welcome our athletes and families, and give our kids an opportunity to experience professional football up close is something incredibly special.

Our kids weren’t watching this experience from a distance.

They were in it.

Meeting players. Getting autographs. Taking pictures. Walking through MetLife Stadium. Sharing the experience with teammates, coaches, parents and friends.

And most importantly — being seen.

For a youth organization that began just one year ago with 24 kids, moments like these mean something.

Today, we represent 322 families.

We’ve grown because we’ve remained committed to something bigger than wins and losses. We’re building an environment centered around character, opportunity, inclusion, development, family and giving kids experiences they’ll remember long after their playing days are over.

Having the New York Jets provide this type of experience for our organization reinforces why relationships between professional sports and grassroots youth programs matter so much.

Because when the highest levels of sports reach back and support the next generation, kids begin to see how big their world can become.

To the Jets organization — thank you for welcoming the Knights family and helping make our one-year anniversary something our athletes will never forget.

And to our families…

Look around.

This is what WE built together.

ONE YEAR LATER… ⚔️🏈

Tonight, the New York Jets and L. I. Knights Sports & Athletics come together at MetLife Stadium as we officially celebrate ONE YEAR OF THE KNIGHTS.

And I still have moments where I look around and can’t believe we’re here.

August 2025: 24 kids.
August 2026: 322 families.

And tonight, more than 100 members of our Knights family will walk into MetLife Stadium together to celebrate what we’ve built.

Athletes. Parents. Coaches. Families. Friends.

Together.

What started with one baseball team, one flag football team, a few coaches, and an idea has grown into something far greater than I could have imagined in just 12 months.

But the number 322 isn’t what makes me proudest.

It’s seeing kids make friends.

Watching coaches become mentors.

Seeing parents believe in what we’re building.

Watching athletes gain confidence, learn accountability, overcome adversity, and discover what they’re capable of.

It’s seeing a community become a family.

Tonight, our athletes will experience something they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. They’ll represent the L. I. Knights at MetLife Stadium and be recognized as part of an organization that didn’t even exist a year ago.

That’s pretty incredible.

To every family who took a chance on us…

To every coach who gives their time…

To every sponsor and partner who believed in our mission…

To every friend and supporter who shared a post, made a phone call, referred a family, showed up, or simply encouraged us…

And most importantly, to every young athlete who has worn KNIGHTS across their chest…

THANK YOU.

You built this with us.

One year down.

Due to the strong response to our upcoming L.I. Knights Golf Program, we have officially extended registration through Friday, September 4!

We currently have just 4 spots remaining, giving a few more young golfers the opportunity to join us for the upcoming season.

Families looking for even more golf can also register for our upcoming Holiday and Winter sessions. All sessions run from 6:00–8:00 PM.

⛳ 24 Weeks: $900 — Save $150

Our program welcomes young golfers of varying experience levels, including beginners. Athletes will work on fundamentals, skill development, golf etiquette, confidence, sportsmanship, and understanding the game—all within a positive, structured, and encouraging environment.

Coming Soon! Our Parent Coaching Course...

Every athlete deserves a trained coach—and every parent deserves guidance.

The L.I. Knights Parent Coaching Department equips families with the knowledge, communication skills, and emotional tools needed to navigate youth sports successfully. From the ride home after a difficult game to conversations about playing time, confidence, commitment, and burnout, we help parents support the person inside the uniform.

Because healthy sports parenting does not happen automatically. It must be modeled, supported, and developed—just like every other important skill in sports.
