It looks like the nesting pair of bald eagles at Eagles Landing have decided to rebuild their home in the big tree out front. A couple of weeks ago, the heavy snow caused the limb supporting the nest to crash to the ground, and we felt like we had lost our nesting pair! In the last week, the two eagles have rebuilt the nest in the middle of the tree, where it will be better supported and protected from the elements. Maybe, with some luck, we will see another cycle of our nesting pair with a new group of young eagles! 🦅

Yesterday was a sad day at Eagles Landing. With all that snow and how heavy it was the brunch that held the Eagles nest snapped and fell to the ground.🥲the pair of Eagles was working on their home all last week so they could have their chicks again. We hope they return and build a new nest.( maybe next year)
